Are you one of those compassionate and concerned people trying to reach out to the victims of super cyclone in Orissa, but still do not know how? Are you wishing to contribute your mite to this noble cause without paying a single penny from your pocket? No problem! you can do it while relying on www.causeanaffect.org, the website launched by the city based Iridium Interactive, the Internet and e-commerce division of Iridium Technologies (India) pvt ltd. The process is simple. Once the surfer logs on to the site, on home page, he will see the detailed data in connection with the 'Orissa tragedy', besides a map of India with Orissa part blinking. Here the surfer is required to click the yellow button, below the map. This automatically makes the corporate 'sponsors' to donate 50 paise each to Orissa chief minsiter's relief fund (OCMRF) on behalf of the surfer. As already there are 18 such sponsors who have joined the venture, each click would contribute Rs.9/- to the Orissa cause. The entire amount, calculated at the end of the day, would be sent to the account of OCMRF in the form of DD or a cheque. The site was formally unweiled before newsmen here on Tuesday by director and Co-founder of Iridium Interactive Sriram Bharatam, along with his colleagues in the venture. However, one could not go on clicking endlessly with the hope of contributing more.
